iWeld officially kicked off at EDF offices in Brussels between the 18th and 19th of October 2022. Teams from all partners reviewed the developments underpinning iWeld, and discussed the plans and routes to achieving our objectives. Showcase presentation included:
- weld library
- ultrasonic inversion (weld map tomography)
- adaptive ultrasonics imaging
- advanced microstructure simulation
- artificial intelligence in imaging and inversion
It was a productive, interesting and stimulating event, setting the team on the right path to success!
