iWeld brings together 8 partners from 4 European countries, including France, Germany, Lithuania and the United Kingdom.
Industrial advisory board
iWeld is driven and overseen by an Industrial Advisory Board representing nonnuclear industries and benefits from the participation of TWI – the global cross-sectoral leader in welding technology. The proposed methodology will be deployed to an industrial partner towards the end of the project. It will be accompanied by standards-driven documentation of the inspection protocol, ready to be adapted in practice. Furthermore, the spirit of iWeld, reflected in how the tools are prepared for cross-sectoral transfer, will allow wider uptake of the technology by users not directly associated with the project.
